A tiny but exquisite island about an hour by boat east of Phuket, Mai Thon's beautiful natural green surroundings, exotic corals and white sandy beaches are well preserved. The island has a single, rather expensive resort, where fishing and scuba-diving instruction and equipment are available.

Those not wishing to stay overnight may make a daytime excursion leaving from Ao Makam Deep-Sea Port.
